At Gorgeous by Glam, our mission is to create financially independent women, that when graduating will have the skills and knowledge necessary to be entrepreneurs, provide for themselves and their families and to break every glass ceiling possible. That is our goal for every student, so that in addition to becoming proficient in their field, they grow to be the boss or CEO that society or culture has told them they weren’t. Here at Gorgeous by Glam Beauty Academy (Gorgeous by Glam, LLC) , we provide each student a diverse education in a safe, supportive environment that promotes self discipline, motivation, and excellence in learning. Our objective is to inspire students to tap into their individual creativity, passion and imagination, while becoming successful in their profession. We strive to help students develop the attitude and habits necessary for success through exceptional training.

Admission Requirements
We do not require a high school (HS) diploma or GED to take our programs.
In order to apply to any of our programs the student must be:
- At least 18 years old, (15 year olds can register with parental/guardian consent)
- Photo identification such as; State ID, Drivers License, or Passport (from any country)
*although we do not require HS Diploma or GED - Licensing and Work requirements in your trade may require it. Always do your due diligence - We are not responsible for any challenges when obtaining license or jobs, or anything related to the requirement of a GED/HS Diploma outside of Gorgeous by Glam Beauty Academy.

Gorgeous by Glam Beauty Academy (Gorgeous by Glam, LLC) is officially closed on these days:
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
- New Years Day
- Labor Day
If you have a religious holiday that is not listed here, please let the office know AT TIME OF ENROLLMENT OR 48 HOURS BEFORE THE HOLIDAY.
Emergency closings: Due to inclement weather, power outages, national crisis, or other emergencies, Gorgeous by Glam Beauty Academy (Gorgeous by Glam, LLC) may close for all or part of regularly scheduled class. We will post our closings on all our social media sites including Facebook and Instagram, and students who have opted for email notification will receive an email. If available, we will post closings on news channels. The school reserves the right to close for Educator Training Seminars, legal holidays or any other circumstances beyond the school’s control.

Our state-of-the-art facility is a 1927 sq. ft. center located on the second floor of the Pelosi Building in Bridgeport, CT. The atmosphere provides an ideal environment for learning the profession of beauty and cosmetology. We have our administrative office and four classrooms, each containing the necessary materials needed to start you on your new career!
