What You’ll Learn
Our Nail Technician curriculum combines theory with hands-on training, including:
Nail anatomy, physiology, diseases and disorders; sanitation, sterilization and bacteriology; cosmetic chemistry and product knowledge; manicures and pedicures; hand and foot massage; paraffin treatments; electricity and nail technology equipment; artificial nail enhancements; sculpting and acrylic application; gel and acrylic systems; French, encapsulated, reverse, 3D, marble, Baby Boomer and Bloom techniques; nail art and design; salon laws, ethics, communication and professional conduct; recordkeeping, client consultation, treatment procedures, retail/product knowledge, and clinical practice.
Students have the opportunity to practice the techniques they learn while developing the speed, professionalism, confidence, and attention to detail expected in the beauty industry.
Flexible Class Schedules
We understand that many of our students are balancing work, children, family, and other responsibilities. That is why Gorgeous by Glam offers multiple 4-hour class options.
Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM, 1:00 PM–5:00 PM, or 5:00 PM–9:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
The Nail Technician Program requires 100 clock hours for completion.
