Nail Technician

The Nail technician program is 100 clocked hours. 

This program will satisfy ONE of the requirements to obtain your License in the State of Connecticut. 

Subjects Taught:

1. Anatomy and Physiology
2. Diseases and Disorders of the Skin and Nails
3. Cosmetic Chemistry Ingredients and Product Knowledge
4. Sterilization, Sanitation, and Bacteriology
5. Hand Massage theory and Practice
6. Sculpting and curing with gel and acrylic
7. Management, Laws, Communication, and Ethics
8. Paraffin Wax Application
9. Application of Manicure, Pedicures and Sales Product Knowledge
10. Electricity and Nail Technology Equipment
11. Application of Artificial Nail Enhancement
12. Techniques in French, Encapsulated, Art Design, Reverse, 3D, Marble, Baby Bloom, etc 
13. Clinical Practice, Record Keeping, and Treatment

Schedule

Nail Technician Program: 100 clocked hours, with 4 Hour Slot

Slots Available:

• MONDAY - Saturday from 9:00AM - 1:00PM or 1:00PM - 5:00PM
• EVENING CLASSES: 5-9PM AVAILABLE MONDAY-FRIDAY

Investment:

*Enrollment Fee: $ 150

Books/Kit $ 250

Lab fee $ 750

Uniform/Supplies: $150

Tuition: $ 4,500

Total Tuition + fees $ 5,800

Licensing requirements as of 8/2023:

*$100 application fee to the Department of Public Health

$75 license processing fee for one-on-one team member assistance
